Philosophy

Dr. Michelle Logvinsky, PsyD.

Life is hard.  We have all experienced so much collective trauma over the past few years.  Sometimes, we all need a place to vent.  Somewhere to regulate our nervous systems.  In certain cases, a place that can hold space and contain us while we face hard truths.  A place to grieve.  And yes, sometimes a place to laugh.

I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 20 years, in a wide range of settings.  In recent years, I have stepped into private practice.  I have found that people from a wide range of backgrounds struggle with very similar problems; the need for connections and an absence of a safe space to be seen and heard.  I believe every person is the foremost expert on themselves - I am merely here to add perspective and perhaps some insights that simply cannot be recognized within ourselves, by ourselves.  All of us, present company included, can benefit from time spent with a safe, caring, trauma informed clinician.

There are certain things that require reflection.  Put simply, we cannot see the full picture when we are inside the frame.  It would be my honor to serve in this role for you or your family system.
